What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort in County Cork, Ireland, where a forty-five-metre earthen bank still marks the western edge of a forgotten circle. The rest has surrendered to soil and farm fences, yet the hidden shape remains visible when ordinary sight fails. People may have lived there before becoming legend, or perhaps the land simply stopped sharing its boundary with humans. Either way, the fort still holds its shape beneath the surface, waiting for someone reckless enough to notice.

Originally circular area (diam. c. 45m); earthen bank survives to W, incorporated into field fence system, with silted-up external fosse.
