House

Discovered during pre-development excavation in at 23 Dyer Street in 1996 (Excavation Licence No. 96E0160). Excavation revealed a clay bonded stone wall fronting onto the street, two N-S walls (one at E and one at W end) and a foundation arch at the E end. The walls represented the remains of a thirteenth-century building. Two substantial medieval stone drains were revealed beneath the floor deposits of the building.
