Building

What is recorded here

Discovered during pre-development excavation at the site of the former Drogheda Grammar School in 1998 (Excavation Licence No. 98E0544). Medieval surfaces of 13th and 14th century date were exposed beneath the archbishop's palace (LH024-041078-). These probably represented houses that were situated along Laurence Street during the medieval period. (Murphy 2000, 199) Compiled by: Claire Breen Date of upload: 29 August 2012
