7m S of mine (CO139-049---); driven 320° into base of same E-facing rock scarp. Fire-worked face (L <1m; Wth 1m; H 1.2m); no floor sediments. Abandoned mine operation; mistakenly driven against cleavage grain of rock country. Excavation c. 5m down slope revealed spoil sediment associated wtih this shallow working.
