Midden in An Bhráid (tc Annagáire)

Following the finding of a bronze pin and adzehead in a black layer here the site was excavated (NMI). Three layers of shells, a hearth, a trench and paving were found. These layers may still be seen in the face of a large sand dune. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal.
