What is recorded here

Annagh Island holds a vanished earthen ringfort in Lough Conn, reduced now to a low curved scarp after two centuries of water and time. The island setting gave its builders sightlines and defense, but a modern fence still cuts across the remains like an innocent wound. What is left is small enough to walk past and old enough to stop breathing for a moment.
Annagh Island is recorded as a island in County Mayo. Its open map record supplies this location and any linked names or public references.
