Tober Fintany, An Cloigeann is associated with Saint Fintan, a 6th-century Irish monk and founder of the monastery at Clonard, known as the "School of the Saints." The well is traditionally linked to healing and pilgrimage, with local folklore suggesting it possessed curative properties, particularly for eye ailments.
