Rathreagh

Rathreagh holds a substantial late medieval church on a Mayo drumlin, its paired windows still framing the memory of light. A rougher annexe later clashed onto one end, forcing a new doorway and burying the old opening in stone. That abrupt change preserves the patience of the first builders and the urgency of the second, while the maintained graveyard beside them suggests the place never fully released the people it served.
