Man-made underground passage in Letternadarriv

In pasture, on the SE side of a ridge, overlooking the valley of the Ardsheelhane River. An opening in the ground allows access into an earth-cut entrance passage (L 2.2m; Wth 0.85m) which slopes down to the SW. A creepway (Wth 0.65m; H 0.45m) at the bottom of this passage leads into a partially waterlogged earth-cut chamber (L c. 2m). A blocked-up construction shaft is visible to the E of the creepway. A second creepway in the E side of Chamber 1 leads into a second inaccessible chamber. A circular depression (diam. c. 0.6m; D c. 0.5m) and an oval depression (1m x 0.55m; D 0.45m) were also noted in the ground, 2m and 5m respectively, to the SW of the present opening to the Man-made underground passage.
