Man-made underground passage in Dromgower

Lisroe/Lios Rua (russet ringfort). KE014-025---- is situated three fields NE of KE014-065----, and it has an extensive view of the surrounding area. The univallate rath consists of a circular area enclosed by a bank and exterior fosse. The interior is at a higher level than the surrounding land, and access is gained by two entrances: one to the N measuring c5m in width, the second to the SSW measuring c3m wide. In the SW to W sector of the interior is an oblong enclosure, 6m x 17m externally, constructed of stone with 1m thick walls. This is possibly a house-site (KE014-025001-). Immediately W of this is a small mound, 1.5m x 3.6m internally, which displays a lot of stones, possibly suggesting a Man-made underground passage (KE014-025002-).
