Crinnaloo North holds a collapsed underground passage inside a ringfort, marked only by a shallow hollow sixteen metres from the bank. The hole measures 1.7m long, 1.4m wide and 0.6m deep, small enough to suggest a private doorway rather than a grand chamber. It may have led to storage, worship or escape, but the roof has fallen and the purpose has blurred. What remains is a dark gap in the ground, waiting to be imagined.

In centre of ringfort (8223). Hollow (L 1.7m; Wth 1.4m; D 0.6m), 14m from bank, may indicate collapsed Man-made underground passage.
