What is recorded here

Half a metre wide and hidden beneath a long mound, the passage cuts north through the heart of the Caherbarnagh ringfort. Its stone lintel still bridges the opening, preserving a route built for people small enough to crawl or quiet enough not to be seen. Whatever purpose it served, the makers trusted the earth to keep the shape and waited for someone patient enough to find it.

In N half of ringfort (8107). Small opening (Wth 0.55m) with stone lintel just N of centre of ringfort; mound (H 0.15m; Wth 2m; L 5.5m) extends in NNE direction.
