Ballycummisk holds a man-made underground passage inside a ringfort, with a central mound of stones marking the possible entrance. Local tradition preserves the shape rather than a dated event, leaving the passage behind that mound as a hidden chamber, drainage cut or forgotten way through the land. The stones still stand at the centre, waiting for someone to remember what they covered.
