Mortons Bay, Toronto: An unknown man-made underground passage in Monancloy, County Antrim, Ireland, has been destroyed and cannot be located. Its loss removes a rare physical example of human engineering beneath the ground. The absence turns the site into a warning about how quickly artificial creation can disappear when nobody remembers where it entered the earth.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as Man-made underground passage (destroyed & unlocated). Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
