Wrought-iron pedestrian gate with rendered gate piers and rubble limestone wall, erected c.1880. Rendered plinth wall and gate piers with cast-iron railings and gates. Rendered wall and gate piers with wrought-iron gate gives access to farm.
The boundary of this house and farm consists of a simple hedgerow and special attention has been given to the design of the three entrances which allow access to different parts of the grounds. A variety of materials have been used including rendered and unrendered stone, cast-iron and wrought-iron providing visual and textural interest.
