What is recorded here
Indicated is a crannog in County Mayo, Ireland. Whether it is a drowned house, a fishing platform or a boundary marker remains unknown. The lake may have taken its stairs, chambers and occupants while the land around it kept changing shape. What is left is a hidden local place waiting to be identified.
