Crannog in Lough Gara is a crannog in Lough Gara, County Sligo, Ireland. It stands as a low grass-covered mound measuring 15.4 metres north-south and 14.6 metres east-west, rising 0.86 metres above the lakeshore in a shallow bay on the west shore. Half the mound projects into the water like a small peninsula, while the edge facing the lake holds subangular stones about 0.3 to 0.4 metres across. Animal bones appeared along the edges during inspection, and the grassy surface blends into the wet meadow toward the shore.

In a wet meadow, below the former shoreline, in a shallow bay on the W shore of Lough Gara. The crannog is surrounded by flat ground with views of the Curlew Mountains. It consists of a low grass-overgrown mound (15.4m N-S; 14.6m E-W; H 0.86m above the lakeshore), half of which protrudes into the water like a small peninsula. The surface is more even and overgrown with grass towards the shore making it difficult to find the edge of the site, as it blends into the meadow while the surface of the E portion is more uneven. The edge is clearer towards the water, consisting of subangular stones (diam. c. 0.3-0.4m). Some animal bones were found along the edges of this site during the site inspection.
