Crannog in Lough Gara is a crannog in Lough Gara, County Sligo, Ireland. The site occupies a secluded bay on the east shore where silt has transformed water into a stony meadow. A central oval plateau measures 5 metres north-south and 6.6 metres east-west within a broader 11.3 by 16.2 metre mound that rises 0.97 metre above the ground. Protruding stones mark the edges, while a small collection of stones lies outside the plateau to the east.

On the E shore of Lough Gara, in a secluded bay near the outflow of Lough Gara into the Boyle River. The bay has silted up and the crannog is now on dry land, in a stony meadow beside a substantial drainage ditch. The vegetation consists of bushes and meadow grass. The low-cairn crannog (11.3m N-S; 16.2m E-W; H 0.97m above the meadow), the centre of which consists of an oval plateau (5m N-S; 6.6m E-W), is overgrown with low grass and some small shrubs. The surface is even and only occasional stones protrude. The plateau is surrounded by an edge that slopes sharply to the N, W and E, while to SE there seems to be a berm (Wth c. 2-2.4m) tapering to W. The edges have a number of boulders and stones protruding, possibly forming a line of stones to the N. There is a small collection of stones outside the plateau at E. A lacustrine enclosure (SL045-016----) and another crannog (SL045-008----) are c. 250m to NW and WSW, respectively.
