Tenons and broken edges mark a stone that stood on a ridge before memory faded. It is not certain whether people set it upright or the ridge simply held it against the sky. Either way, the stone entered human life large enough to be seen from a distance and strong enough to resist forgetting. Its break did not erase that role. It redirected the story toward the yard where it lies now.

Located on a N-S ridge of rock outcrop. A conglomerate slab (L 3.6m; Wth 0.6-1.15m; T 0.15m plus) which was upright within living memory and has a feature like a tenon at its base now lies prone and broken in two at the entrance to a farmyard.
