Burnt spread in Lomcloon

In pasture, on the top of a low ridge with a steep fall to the shoreline of Lough Gara at SSW. The easternmost of two oval dark features (see SL046-041001-), c. 50m apart, which are visible in an aerial photograph (ACAP, V 227/50-1). The spread is evident as an area of dark soil incorporating some sandstone fragments.
