Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Lissananny, County Roscommon, Ireland. It appears as a circular embanked enclosure on the 1837 Ordnance Survey map and occupies a gentle south-east-facing slope. The D-shaped grass-covered area measures 32 metres north-south and 20.2 metres east-west, with a scarp and hedge along the north-east to south-south-west side and a curving field wall along the north-north-west to north-east side. The west perimeter has been quarried away to a depth of about 2 metres, and no fosse or original entrance remains visible.
Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 40m) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and situated on a gentle SE-facing slope. This is a D-shaped raised grass-covered area (dims 32m N-S; 20.2m E-W) defined by a scarp and hedge (H 1-1.2m) NE-SSW and a curving field wall NNW-NE, but the perimeter has been quarried away at W (D c. 2m). There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance.
