Terraced three-bay single-storey house, c.1830. Refenestrated, c.1880. Renovated, c.1930. Reroofed, pre-1999. Pitched (shared) roof with replacement artificial slate, pre-1999, clay ridge tiles, red brick Running bond (shared) chimney stacks, and replacement uPVC rainwater goods, pre-1999, on timber eaves. Unpainted replacement roughcast walls, c.1930, with rendered strips to ends, and rendered band to eaves. Square-headed window openings with stone sills, and replacement 1/1 timber sash windows, c.1880. Square-headed door opening with replacement glazed timber panelled door, c.1930. Road fronted with concrete footpath to front.

An appealing small-scale house of modest appearance, possibly sponsored by the Duke of Devonshire for workers on the Lismore Castle estate, which retains its original form and massing, together with some important early features and materials, which enhance the historic quality of the composition. The house makes a positive impact on the visual appeal of New Street, and, together with the remainder of the houses in the terrace, contributes to an attractive, low-lying quality in the streetscape.
