Irregular, grass-covered spread of burnt material (12m N-S; 10m E-W) in marsh land. Well marked at W side of hachured oval mound on 1940 OS 6-inch map. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994).
