What is recorded here

Lisheen was a children's burial ground on a marshy slope in County Galway, now vanished beneath the soil. It lay near a holy well, suggesting families carried small dead bodies through wet grass to a quiet place beside water. The absence of stones does not erase the purpose; it only returns the children to the earth that first held them.

On NE-facing slope of a slight rise in a marshy area, c. 400m SE of a holy well (GA028-016----). No visible surface trace survies.
