Detached three-bay single-storey water tower, built 1859. Now in disuse. Cast-iron water tank now missing. Brick eaves course to roofline. Brick walls with brick quoins. Square-headed window openings having brick block-and-start surrounds and limestone sills. Camber-headed door opening with brick block-and-start surround.

Water tower forming part of a group of related structures at Killeagh Railway Station. The juxtaposition of red brick quoins and yellow brick walls forms the main aesthetic focus of the building, providing chromatic interest to the façade.
