Structure

A single piece of brushwood (L 0.86m min.; diam. 0.045m) on the field surface. The wood is in quite poor condition and has been identified as Pomoideae. The site sits in poorly humified Sphagnum peat with some Eriophorum. It is located at the SW end of SMR OF015-475----. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1996. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
