Structure

Two pieces of brushwood (L 0.16m min.; diam. 0.03m) orientated NE-SW, which may be the fragmented remains of a single piece. The pieces are present in poorly humified Sphagnum peat with some Eriophorum. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1996. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
