A piece of alder brushwood (L 0.44m min.; diam. 0.04m) orientated NW-SE on the field surface which had been worked to a chisel point. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1996. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
