Standing stone in Lisdarush

Standing stone in Lisdarush is a short limestone marker beside a hillfort above Lough Melvin, not a mysterious ancient monument. It stands on a shallow ridge where the land tilts toward open water, visible enough to find and small enough to overlook. A person may have set it there to mark a boundary, a path or a remembered event, while the lake continued moving light across the valley below.
