Rock art in Letter West carries faint grooves and a partial ring on a smooth sandstone boulder in County Kerry. The markings barely emerge from the stone, inviting patience rather than certainty. A person may have sat beside it, tracing the shallow lines with a finger before leaving no name behind.

The upper surface of this largely smooth-faced sandstone boulder slopes upwards to W and is rectangular in plan, measuring approx. 1.3m x 1m. It is inscribed with very faint, barely discernible motifs which include a number of grooves, an annual ring partially enclosed by an outer ring and a possible cupmark on an area of spall.
