Rock art in Letter West carries a cup-and-partial-two-ring on smooth sandstone above the Behy River valley. The central cupmark sits inside broken rings that join into kidney shapes, with pickmarks filling the north gap and leaving the south open. A person may have marked the rock where the valley light struck at dawn, making a small map of attention on mountain heath.
In mountain heath (163m OD), on a NE-facing slope, c. 6.5m to NW of stream. Good views overlooking Behy River valley to NE. A smooth and fractured sandstone (dims. 1.15m N-S; 0.90m E-W; max. H 0.30m at N) which is irregular in plan. It has a subrectangular decorated surface (dims. 0.33m N-S; 0.30m E-W) with a S-facing aspect. It bears well-preserved motifs consisting of a cup-and-partial-two-ring (overall dims. 23cm N-S; 30cm E-W) motif at N area of rock face. This motif consists of a central cupmark (diam. 4cm; D 6mm) enclosed by a partial inner and outer ring (Wth 2.5cm; D 2-4mm) to E and W. The inner and outer partial rings are joined at N and S ends to form a kidney shape to E and W of the central cupmark. The area between the N end of the kidney shapes is filled with pickmarks and the area to S is open. A cluster of random pickmarks are located close to S. Rock art (KE071-180----) is c. 11.5m to S.
