Lemgare Rocks in County Monaghan, Ireland, hold a west-facing mass-rock overlooking a small sheltered valley. During Penal times, people gathered beneath that cliff to celebrate Mass away from prohibition. The valley remains narrow and quiet, preserving the shape of that hidden devotion.

Located just down from the summit of Lemgare Rocks, on the W side, and overlooking a small sheltered, flat-bottomed valley (dims c. 50m NW-SE; c. 15-20m NE-SW) that slopes down to the NW, which is just to the S.
