Structure

A deposit (L 1.77m; Wth 0.4m; D 0.1m) of four pieces of hazel brushwood and a single oak roundwood on the field surface. The roundwood has been partially damaged by machinery. Three pieces of brushwood are orientated NNW-SSE while the fourth piece lies almost at a right angle to these. One piece is cut to a chisel point. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1997. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
