Structure

A spread of light brushwood (Wth 1.61m; D 0.12m) in opposing drain faces. The pieces are irregularly laid and a clear structure cannot be discerned. The wood is most concentrated towards the centre of the site with a small number of outlying pieces to either side. One piece is cut to a chisel point. Wood species include oak, hazel and alder. The site is situated 2.8m NW of SMR OF015-215----. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1997. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
