Structure

A roundwood (L 1.71m; Wth 0.95m; D 0.1m) overlying and at right angles to a piece of brushwood on the field surface. The piece is broken at a number of points along its length. A second piece of brushwood bearing a pencil point lies to the S end of the longer piece and may represent a broken and displaced end of the same piece. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1993. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
