Ring-ditch in Laracor

On a slight ridge in Laracor, two curved ditches spiralled around a hidden centre, one bearing the aligned bodies of the dead. The outer ditch held two people buried north to south, perhaps placed there because the line felt right or because the land remembered them. The inner ditch ran wider and deeper, as if marking the boundary of a living space rather than a grave. Together they suggest a small world where the living and dead shared the same ridge, separated only by a few metres of earth.
