House set back slightly from street, front site bounded by smooth rendered ruled-and-lined wall, basement accessed through cast-iron gate, flight of steps to basement.
This well-proportioned terraced house was built along with five other similarly designed houses. The façade of the building is enlivened by the rendered doorcase, typical of this period. The most striking feature of this house, and indeed the entire terrace, is the entrance steps which lead to the door, creating a formal entrance into the house. The retention of the early sliding sash windows are worthy of particular note, adding to the architectural value of the structure.
