Terraced two-bay three-storey over basement former house, built c. 1830, now uses as offices. Pitched slate roof, clay ridge tiles, hidden by parapet, red brick corbelled chimneystack, stone coping to parapet. Red brick walling laid in Flemish bond, painted squared-rubble walling to basement surmounted by smooth rendered ruled-and-lined course and smooth rendered chamfered plinth. Square-headed window openings, painted smooth rendered patent reveals, tooled limestone sills, painted timber six-over-six sliding sash windows, metal grill to basement windows, painted timber casement windows to second floor. Segmental-headed door opening, painted moulded smooth rendered surround, painted timber pilasters surmounted by scrolled console brackets support frieze, cornice and plain-glazed fanlight, painted timber door with two round-headed flat panels, limestone entrance platform approached by thirteen limestone steps, smooth rendered ruled-and-lined plinth wall, tooled limestone coping to east. House set back slightly from street, front site bounded by smooth rendered ruled-and-lined wall, tooled limestone coping.

As one of a terrace of five houses, this building has been well maintained over time and remains in good condition. The façade is enlivened by the elegant doorcase, approached by a striking flight of limestone steps, creating a formal entrance into this architecturally significant structure.
