What is recorded here

Lagacurry holds a narrow stone, one metre six tall and only thirty-four centimetres wide, leaning slightly above the pasture on the north side of an east-west ridge. It is small enough to overlook, yet stubborn enough to have survived every plough, fire and forgetting that touched Donegal. Perhaps it marked a boundary, a burial or a promise made before written language.
