Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Lackan (athlone North By., Lackan Ed) is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Lackan (athlone North By., Lackan Ed), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies the top of Lackan Hill as a circular grass-covered platform measuring 28.8 metres east-west and 27 metres north-south. A scarp one point two to one point six metres high defines the edge, though no fosse or original entrance remains visible. A windmill was excavated into the centre with a sunken path approaching from the south-south-east, while another cashel stands thirty metres to the east-north-east.
On top of Lackan Hill. Circular grass-covered platform (diam. 28.8m E-W; 27m N-S) defined by a scarp (H 1.2-1.6m). There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance. The windmill (RO045-001001-) was excavated into the centre, with a sunken path approaching the tower from the SSE. Cashel RO045-002----) is c. 30m to the ENE.
