What is recorded here

Indicated is a worn circular rath in Galway grassland, its eastern bank still visible while a field wall has cut through the northern earth. It stands eighty metres from a neighbouring rath, suggesting a small cluster of dwellings rather than a lonely marker. The loss of its northern edge does not diminish it; it reminds us that human hands keep rewriting the shape of old places.

In grassland. Poorly preserved circular rath (diam. 25.7m) defined by a bank best preserved at E. A field wall cuts through the monument at NNW and NNE and, apart from a slight mound, no visible surface trace of the enclosing element survives to the N of it.
