Situated on a low NE-SW ridge in an upland area. According to the OS Letters the ringfort (TN026-036001) was used as a burial place for unbaptised infants (O'Flanagan 1930, vol. 3, 121). No visible remains at ground level. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
