Kiln

Corn-drying kiln number 2: This is located c. 17m to the NE of corn-drying kiln number 1 (ME019-030067-). It consisted of an oval chamber (dims 1.6m x 1.2m) with a passage (L 1.4m; Wth 0.4-0.65m) extending SE to open into a rectangular pit area (dims 2m plus x 2m plus) retained by walling at SW and NW but open in other directions. Much of the walling was reduced to a single course. This kiln is conserved in situ.
