Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Knocknanool, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a rise on an undulating east-west esker ridge and presents a circular overgrown platform measuring 49 metres across. An earth and stone bank defines the edge, though field spoil now obscures much of the original fosse and outer bank. Old field walls survive inside the boundary, while a rectangular stone setting north of the centre may mark a children's burial ground according to local tradition.

On a rise of an undulating and interrupted E-W esker ridge. Circular overgrown platform (diam. 49m WNW-ESE) defined by an overgrown earth an stone bank (at WNW: Wth 4.5m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1m) largely obscured by field spoil, which was originally surrounded by a fosse and outer bank (Gannon 1972) which have now been backfilled. There is no identifiable original entrance, but some old field walls survive in the interior. A rectangular setting of stones (RO048-146002-) N of the centre may indicate its use as a children's burial ground as reported locally (ibid.). Cashel (RO048-147----) is c. 100m to the E.
