What is recorded here

Knocknalappa holds a crannog, an artificial island built upon water. Whether it served as a home, a hiding place or a marker for a forgotten lineage, the lake still keeps its shape. The clay may have been carried from elsewhere and stacked against the current, a small act of defiance against the drowning dark. To stand beside it is to remember that people shaped the world before the world was measured.
