What is recorded here

A single piece of worked brushwood located on the field surface. The brushwood retained toolmarks made using a metal blade. The wood was located within the immediate vicinity of the site of a possible “bog butter” (ME-KRS 0002). The stake was sampled for radiocarbon dating and wood species analysis.
