Geophysical survey (Licence no. 13R084) was undertaken at the site by the Discovery Programme as part of the ‘Late Iron Age and “Roman” Ireland’ project. Located within the western quadrant encompassed by hilltop enclosure (DU004-012006-) this is one of the larger (25m diam.) circular ring ditches identified. Internally small circular features and pit type anomalies have been identified (Dowling 2015, 9).
