Fulacht fia in Knockanuha

In hill pasture, on a S-facing slope, c. 45m E of a stream, on the N side of a valley between Knockanuha Hill and Carran Mountain. A crescent-shaped mound (8.25m NW-SE; 6m NE-SW; H 0.8m) of burnt material. An area of exposed burnt material is evident along the E arm. The opening faces NE towards marshy ground. Two fulachtaí fia (KE094-055001-, KE094-055002-) are 25m to the SW and 15m to the SW, respectively. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
