House

At the SE end of Insihbofin, on a terrace sheltered by a low ridge to the SW. Recorded by Mr. M. Gibbons, this circular house site (diam. 11m; max. H 1m), heavily overgrown with heather, is defined by a raised circular area with some evidence of stone kerbing. Upright stones in the centre of the interior may mark an internal dividing wall. To the SE of the house, a small level area is edged with a line of boulders. A long N-S running field wall, partially buried in peat and similar to another field wall to the W of a similar house site (see GA009D044----) c. 300m the NE, is visible due E of the house and traces of an E-W running wall are visible to its N.
