Half a century of weeks, the yard holds the parish of Knock. The cross, font and hollowed bullaun stone still stand inside its green edges, waiting for hands that remember water, oil or prayer. What is absent is easier to imagine: a church tall enough to cast shadow across the graves, and people young or old moving through that shadow without fear.

The site of an early church that became the parish church of Knock (ME012-033----) is within a subrectangular graveyard (dims c. 52m E-W; c. 46m N-S). The cross (ME012-033002-), font (ME012-033003-) and bullaun stone (ME012-033005-) are in the graveyard. Archaeological testing (00E0528) by I. Russell c. 60m to the NW produced no related material (excavations.ie 2000:747) (Russell 2000).
